Months ago, I received a book in the mail called, "The 100 Sporting Events You Must See Live" by Robert Tuchman. Not only does this book lists the what, where, when, why, and how's of top sporting events, it also recommends hotels, restaurants, ticket offices, and it shares many fun facts. For sports fanatics out there, don't be content to just sit on your couch and listen to Bill Simmons' podcasts... Go pack your bags and grab your ticket!

This is what author Robert Tuchman says regarding how he selected his Top 100 sporting events to see live, "The list is not about my personal loyalties to any team or region of the world... In the end, it was about the energy of the event, not the number of people who attended it, revenue it generated, or tv ratings it drew." For this post, I am basing the Top 10 I want to see this way as well.

As a bonus, my dear husband, Mr. Folie à Deux, is sharing his own Top 10 (in no particular order) with my readers, then I'll compare it to my own. Let's get ready...
